This gorgeous Alsation x is a pleasure to be around.  However, she has been allowed to get grossly overweight and now needs to be on a controlled diet using low carb food, and LOTS of steady exercise. 

Sasha is a really nice friendly get – she is kenelled with a little terrier, and is full of fun. 

The home Sasha is looking for could have another dog or dogs – could have children or visiting children – (not under 8 years of age unless parents are used to large dogs). The home could even have to leave her for a few hours – especially if she has a companion.   

The criteria is that you love her and give her a home for life.  Sasha will be speyed, microchipped, vaccinated, flead and wormed.   A donation is required to the rescue to adopt Sasha – to keep us helping more pets in crisis.

Meet Hollie – a larger than life lady.  She is a typical little staffy girl – however, she has been allowed to be very over-weight and needs to go on a diet.  Hollie is struggling in kennels, bless her and not coping well.  We are also appealing for a foster home for her, to get her out of kennel life as she is so upset there.  We are told that Hollie has lived with all types of other animals but her previous owners said she didn’t get on well with all other dogs – typical staff – choosy with her friends.

It would be great if she could go to her new home, where she would be the only dog and where the new owners would keep her on a controlled diet giving her lots of exercise. She is very friendly and loves loves loves cuddles.  She is also quiet a steady dog – and not manic or crazy.

Please – is the right home out there that can give this cuddle monster a home.

Hollie will be spayed when the vets say its right to do so.  She will be flead, wormed, vaccinated and microchipped.  An adoption fee is required to take her on to keep the rescue going.

-Special Appeal-

Manny, an 18 month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross, was saved from the Pound. His eyes were very badly infected, despite this everyday he let his carers treat them with creams and the infection cleared up. Manny then arrived at Netherlands, Kilnhurst. But it was soon apparent that there was still something wrong with his eyes so Manny was taken to the vet where we discovered that Manny has a problem called ‘Keratoconjunctivitis sicca’ or ‘dry eye’. Unfortunately this is inoperable and so advanced that Manny will progressively go blind (approx 1-2years). We hope to find a special home for Manny so that he can settle in before he goes completely blind. Until now Manny has shown himself to be a big softie with people and seems fine around other dogs. Can you offer Manny this special home that he needs?

A  really nice girl, she is microchipped but unfortunately her owners did not come and reclaim her. We have been informed that she is used to living with another girl dog and a cat. She has shown no issues in kennels towards staff or other dogs. Knows basic commands.
