EVEI – this gorgeous lady – around 7 years old is looking for the right home.  Evei – sadly is blind and was found wandering round the streets in Woodseats, Sheffield South Yorkshire and taken to Peak Vets.  Then she ended up in Sheffield Council Stray kennels, where she stayed for 7 days – hoping someone would come for her.  How can someone have her for 7 years – and not miss her when she’s gone?  I’ll never know.

EVEI is GORGEOUS.  She gets on with everyone and everything.  She totally ignored the cats when we took her into the resident cattery- and even allowed one to rub up against her.  When she heard the dogs – she pricked her ears up – and was interested to go see them – but showed no aggression at all.

She travels well in the car.  Adores kisses and cuddles, and is lost in a kennel environment – as she needs time to work out her environment.

Evie is looking for a home, maybe with another dog – but with a home where they will let her adjust to her surroundings.  Not have too much noise and distraction for her – and who will love her – for what she is.  Evei didn’t deserve to be put to sleep – and so Rain Rescue came to her Rescue.

We are looking for a long term home for her.  For someone who will love her and look after her forever.

The vets feel that Evei has become blind maybe due to some shock or trauma.  They can see no damage to her eyes at all – but she appears to have been blind for some time, as she doesn’t panic about it at all – and just gets on with life.  She does fall over things – and this will take time and commitment to manage.  As will her toilet training – until she knows where about she is supposed to go to toilet.  Not easy after the poor lady has been in kennels – not knowing where she can go.

MOLLY – Just 18 months old this high energy girl is everyone’s best friend.  She loves to be active, play games, go for a walk – or just lounge about and get cuddled.

How can she keep getting overlooked in kennels.  Molly has very special friends who come to take her for a walk – all love her – and nobody can understand why she has been in rescue for so many months now – almost 7 months she’s been in kennels for.

She’s always pleased to see people come to take her out – she will walk and mix with most people and loves to play.

Molly is looking for a home where she would receive around 45 mintues exercises twice a day – she would do more than that and wouldn’t do well as being a dog left at home whilst the owners went to work.  She doesn’t chew her bedding – she doesnt get stressed – but she likes to be with you and active.

Molly would only be rehomed with children over 8 years old as she is a lively energetic dog.  Her new home is one where Molly wouldn’t be left on her own for any longer than 3 hours per day

Molly is fully vaccinated, microchipped, flead and wormed. She will be spayed when the vets say its safe to do so.
